There’s a few good reasons why I am obsessed with Lollapalooza. A weekend of INCREDIBLE music, friends, and Chicago Summer lovin’. Firstly, outdoor music festivals are my FAVE! I’ve been to quite some concerts in my lifetime, but there’s something so amazing about being on the grass and jamming out. Remember Coachella?
Next up, it’s located in Chicago (hello home). Since I live in the Greater Chicago it makes it extra cool and extra comfortable to attend the weekend of awesome fun. Lollapalooza is held in the beautiful Grant Park. It is one of the most beautiful venues to watch a concert, being surrounded by the amazing architecture of the city while listening to great bands.
Lolla also gives you a great excuse to rock the most fab, colorful outfits and channel your inner “hippie.” You’ll be subjected to wearing flowers in your hair, high waisted shorts and tropical prints are preferred (e.g. banana plant leaves, flamingos, pineapples, that sort of thing). I have no complaints about any of the above!
